Reconciliation at Crenellate

Reconciliation Australia logo

At Crenellate, reconciliation isn’t a project. It’s part of who we are.

We’re a 100% Indigenous-owned business, founded by members of the Ngarabal Nation from the granite country of northern New South Wales. Our connection to Country, community, and culture is woven through every part of how we work. We see reconciliation not as something to aspire to, but as something to protect, practise, and share.

Why a RAP?

Reflect Reconciliation Action Plans are typically associated with non-Indigenous organisations taking their first steps. So why would a First Nations business create one?

Because leadership carries responsibility. And with the privilege of voice comes the obligation to use it well.

Our Reflect RAP formalises the commitments we’ve already made, and provides structure for the work ahead. It’s about making our intentions transparent, our actions measurable, and our growth accountable to our people, our partners, and the communities we’re connected to.

Our Commitments

We’re focused on action that is meaningful and measurable. That includes:

  • Building partnerships with Aboriginal Corporations and community organisations

  • Embedding First Peoples First procurement practices

  • Creating systems that enable on-Country employment

  • Maintaining cultural integrity as a strategic value, not a symbolic one

Our RAP also outlines the steps we’re taking to strengthen governance, deepen relationships, and increase cultural capability  inside our business and across our sphere of influence.

Our Reflect RAP 2025–2026 has been formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.
